The Faculty currently has nearly 2,000 full-time students.
The Faculty has 1 first-class professional at the national level (Tourism Management), 2 provincial first-class Specialties (Classical Literature, Digital Publishing), 1 Provincial Integrated Brand Specialty (Tourism Management), 1 Municipal Key Construction Discipline (Chinese Language and Literature), 1 Municipal Key Research Base for Philosophy and Social Sciences (Convergence and Digitization), 1 Municipal Key Industry College (College of Arts, Tourism and Industry), 1 Key Construction Discipline (Cultural and Industrial Science). Among 87 faculty members and 36 senior professors and associate professors, we have Jiangsu Province "333 high-Level Talent Training Project" training objects, Jiangsu Province "Blue Engineering" academic leaders, middle-youth key teachers and excellent teaching team. There are National Training Base for Ancient Talents, National Key Laboratory of News and Publishing Industry, Nanjingology and Literature Research Base, Nanjing Non-Relic Research Base, Nanjing Social Science Popularization Base, Nanjing Historical and Cultural Resources Creative and Tourism Development Research Center, Nanjing Think Tank Alliance member units, etc.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Integrated Experiment Center There are laboratories for e-government, office automation, hotel vocational skills, tourism resource management, tourism e-commerce, restoration of ancient books, painting and painting, protection of paper relics, digital literature, language teaching, foreign Chinese teaching simulation, full media editing, etc. We have also established nearly 70 out-of-school internships and practical training bases with relevant enterprises and institutions. It provides good support conditions for the college to carry out teaching and scientific research activities.
For nearly 5 years, our teachers have presided over 2 national-level research tasks. Nearly 40 provincial and ministerial research tasks, 21 academic monographs and teaching materials, Over 250 papers have been published and more than 30 awards have been awarded at all levels. Two results were awarded as Outstanding Achievements in Philosophical and Social Sciences of Jiangsu Province, four results were awarded as Scientific Research Achievements in Higher Education of Jiangsu Province, and one result was awarded as Theoretical Research Results of Ministry of Civil Affairs and 10 results were awarded as Excellent Results in Philosophical and Social Sciences of Nanjing City.
After many years of construction, Faculty's teaching and scientific research work has flourished, the quality of talent training has steadily improved, and graduates are popular with society and employers. The Faculty of Humanities and Sciences will also usher in a new and greater development as the school strives to create a new, high-level applied university with distinctive characteristics.
